Ten new hair colors for Zandalari trolls have been discovered on World of Warcraft’s Public Test Realm for Patch 10.0.5. With a total of six hair color options previously, these vibrant colors have more than doubled the choices available for players customizing their Zandalari troll characters in World of Warcraft. The new Zandalari hair colors may be familiar to some players, as they are shared with their Darkspear troll cousins.

These new options have led many fans to hope World of Warcraft will slowly add more customizations to the game over time. Most of the allied races, like the nightbourne, Highmountain tauren, and Mag’har orcs, are lacking in customization options. Considering the breadth of options the normal races got in Shadowlands, many hope more customization options continue to make the jump to their allied race counterparts over time.
New customization options are extremely important to the World of Warcraft community. During Shadowlands, World of Warcraft overhauled the character customization system with tons of new options. Since then, it has delighted players with surprise customization unlocks like the Dark Ranger skin tone for elves. While Dragonflight added no extra customizations due to its focus on the new dracthyr race, it seems World of Warcraft may begin offering more options as the expansion progresses.
Players are understandably excited World of Warcraft is finally adding more customization options for allied races. While these new character races were exciting to unlock, their severely limited customization options were discouraging for many players hoping to play them. Hopefully having more options for these characters in the future makes it more rewarding for players to unlock these allied races in World of Warcraft.
So far, World of Warcraft: Dragonflight has been a huge success, especially when compared to the mixed reception to Battle for Azeroth and Shadowlands. Though only a minor content update, World of Warcraft Patch 10.0.5 has many fans excited due to the Trading Post–a new feature that allows players to purchase special cosmetics with currency obtainable through various in-game activities. If World of Warcraft can continue to create memorable moments and fun activities for its players, and reward them with new cosmetics and customizations, Dragonflight might go down as one of the best expansions in WoW’s history.
