At this point, it looks like World of Warcraft is still on track to release the seconds of two Dragonflight pre-patches on November 15. This pre-patch is a bit more aligned with what veteran players usually expect from an expansion’s pre-patch and it will introduce not only the game’s new race/class combo, but also a new event to help turn the narrative in Dragonflight’s direction.

The in-game event is titled Primal Storms and should offer level 60 heroes the opportunity to fight off attacks from the Primalists with new quests and world events between November 15 and when Dragonflight officially launches on November 28. More details about the exact activities.

The Primal Storms event isn’t all that will arrive on November 15 either. The second pre-patch release should also include the Dracthyr Evoker launch, the Forbidden Reach zone, and a new dungeon - Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr. That should offer players plenty to keep busy with in the weeks leading to the level cap increase that arrives with Dragonflight’s launch.

That should be just about everything players need to know ahead of the upcoming November 15 pre-patch content drop. Event-specific guides will become available when the exact requirements and activities are released. Be sure to check back for more Dragonflight news, updates, and guides over the coming weeks. Until then, for the Horde!

World of Warcraft is available now for PC. Dragonflight launches on November 28.
