There are plenty of events and quests that players can enjoy throughout the cities of Azeroth, Outland, and Northrend. Both Classic and retail versions of World of Warcraft celebrate the holiday. As it is with other world events, players who want to experience everything that Pilgrim’s Bounty has to offer should take advantage of the limited time certain items are available.

5 The Bountiful Cookbook
It’s that magical time of year when the world eats its way from holiday to holiday. Now that the appetizer of candy and sugar skulls is over, it’s time for the main course. The recipes that characters learn from The Bountiful Cookbook are the main dishes that cover every festive table in Azeroth.

The book is easily purchased through certain vendors that only appear during the holiday, and is described as “the definitive collection of Pilgrim’s Bounty recipes.” There are five recipes in total. Both Hord and Alliance players can learn them from this book, but only during Pilgrim’s Bounty.
4 The Holiday Menu
The hearty seasonal foods aren’t available, either from tables or as craftable items, outside the designated times for the world event. The ingredients are carried by vendors and can be harvested in the open world. Each type of food restores health and mana, and grants a different buff for one hour.
Spice Bread Stuffing: The recipe requires Spice Bread and Autumnal Herbs, and gives a Hit Rating and Stamina buff. Pumpkin Pie: Made with Ripe Tirisfal Pumpkins and Honey, this pie gives Spirit and Stamina buff. Cranberry Chutney: Requires Tangy Southfury Cranberries and Honey to make, and gives the player extra Spell Power and Stamina. Candied Sweet Potato: Purchase some honey and sweet potatoes for this dish, which gives a Haste Rating and Stamina buff. Slow Roasted Turkey: Hunt some Wild Turkey and buy some Honey to make this classic main course, which gives the character extra Attack Power and Stamina.
3 Wild Turkey
These ambient animals look the same as the ones that are usually wandering around the fields or forests, like squirrels and skunks. However, these can be targeted using the tab button, which is normally only possible with hostile or neutral critters. Wild Turkeys only appear during this holiday, and they’re connected with one of the seasonal recipes and an Achievement.

“Slow Roasted Turkey” is a seasonal quest that ends a chain involving all the Pilgrim’s Bounty dishes, and it requires the player to do some hunting and cooking. “The Turkinator” is an Achievement that involves killing 40 Wild Turkeys with less than 30 seconds between kills, and it’s one of the meta-Achievements for the Pilgrim title.
2 The Turkey Shooter
This item is connected to one of the Pilgrim’s Bounty Achievements and one of the event’s daily quests. It’s officially classified as a toy and can’t be used as a weapon. The retail version of WoW features an upgraded blue version, the Silver Plated Turkey Shooter, and this item stays in the player’s virtual toybox all year.
The classic WoW version, however, is only available during this event to finish an Achievement, “Turkey Lurkey.” Besides just being fun, this version isn’t exactly a gun. It covers the target in a coating of feathers that prevents them from using any Stealth abilities, and has twenty charges. It’s one of the rewards for doing the daily seasonal quests.
1 Plump Turkey Pet
Thanks to the high number of pet collectors in both Classic and retail World of Warcraft, this could be the most popular item available only during the Pilgrim’s Bounty event. In the retail version, several battle pets are available during this event. However, WoW: Classic only has non-combat versions of pets unless players are Warlocks or Hunters.
The Plump Turkey pet is one of two rewards that players get when they complete all the Achievements required for the Pilgrim Achievement. The character will now have the title “the Pilgrim” and will be rewarded with the Plump Turkey Pet. A player can pull the pet out any time once they have it, but it’s only obtainable during the holiday.
