The jump video posted to the official World of Warcraft Facebook and Twitter accounts features a character disguised as a Murloc riding a mount off the roof top, making the leap, and transforming back to a regular character body when they don’t quite stick the landing and end up dead on the street. Not a bad showing for an early attempt though. We’re sure they could get there with a bit of practice.
Here’s a look at the super hole-in-one attempt from the official Blizzard World of Warcraft social media accounts…
The hole-in-one fad will likely be a thing of the past after another day or two, but it has certainly been a fun weekend watching the videos on Reddit and seeing the bodies pile up at the well in Dalaran while in-game. One of the first players to post a video of the leap claims that it took them about 15 tries before successfully landing in the Underbelly. Will this trend go down in WoW meme lore like 50 DKP minus and Leeroy Jenkins? We’ll have to wait a few years and see if it ends up inspiring a Hearthstone card or two…
