It could be an injury to one of the on-field players, due to defensive or offensive tactics or simply as a means to wind down the clock if their team is leading. The 2018 FIFA World Cup has given fans a spectacle. It has truly been a tournament of upsets, game-changing decisions facilitated by video technology and a proper footballing showpiece. Part of what made the World Cup special has been the substitutions made by managers in the hope of positively impacting the match....

Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to bat first. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul got off to a steady start before Kemar Roach dismissed Sharma in a controversial manner. After the power play, Kohli and Rahul made batting look easy on a pitch that wasn’t exactly batsman-friendly....

With the pitch looking very placid, India won the toss and chose to bat. India had a forced change with Mohammad Shami replacing the injured Bhuvneshwar Kumar. On the other hand, Afghanistan replaced Noor Ali Zadran and Dawlat Zadran in favour of Hazratullah Zazai and Aftab Alam. As usual, Mujeeb Ur Rahman opened the bowling for Afghanistan. But, what was not expected was the fact that the pitch turned out to be completely opposite when compared with the reports....

Group play was the most chaotic fans have seen in years. There were multiple upsets, a handful of games decided by overtime/shootouts and of course, plenty of blowouts. Czechia was crowned the winner of Group A after finishing with 10 points in the group, while the United States earn the top spot in Group B with nine points. Now, eight teams advance to the knockout stage, where it is single elimination the rest of the way....

World of Warcraft: Dragonflight will see the Dragon Aspects return to their homeland of the Dragon Isles, a set of islands that they left when the sundering of Azeroth began. The Aspects that are returning to the islands are not the same ones that left as they have been through immense strife and change throughout their time in World of Warcraft. Some original five Aspects went mad, others perished, and most gave up their power....

The next expansion for World of Warcraft is called Dragonflight, and it’s centered around (unsurprisingly) the dragonflights of Azeroth and their ancient homeland, the Dragon Isles. Along with brand new content, Dragonflight is also bringing with it a number of revamps and overhauls to the game’s evergreen systems. Though Blizzard didn’t reveal any core features on the scale of Torghast or Island Expeditions, the announcement of these key revamps was arguably just as exciting, especially for longtime players who might be missing things like the old talent tree system....

One of the most exciting features is the ability to craft Legendary Armor. Powerful, legendary artifacts have been a part of the game since long before World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. This, however, marks the first time that players can make Legendary equipment tailor made for their playstyle. There are a few steps to crafting Legendary Armor, but the most important of all is getting a Legendary Power, also known as a Runecarver Memory....

At this point, it looks like World of Warcraft is still on track to release the seconds of two Dragonflight pre-patches on November 15. This pre-patch is a bit more aligned with what veteran players usually expect from an expansion’s pre-patch and it will introduce not only the game’s new race/class combo, but also a new event to help turn the narrative in Dragonflight’s direction. For those that don’t know, TinyViolin69 is notorious for griefing in World of Warcraft Classic. While technically not cheating, this is essentially the act of actively attempting to make the game worse for other players. This alone may not have constituted a ban, but the streamer was running 16 different accounts simultaneously, all of which were both payed for and boosted. Blizzard handed down a ban on all 16 of the accounts that TinyViolin69 was using to grief other players and ruin the experience of playing the game....

Mount farming in the game gives a lot to do for players waiting for the next content drop or expansion or to take a much-needed break from raiding or dungeon grinding....
