The pre-patch for Shadowlands changed quite a bit of the game. The new level cap of 50 means that players can level more quickly and try new classes that much faster. The addition of Chromie Time means players can pick any expansion to level their character. In addition, the current World of Warcraft Anniversary event means that players have an extra boost for leveling new characters right now. This tier ranking might give some players an idea of tanks they want to try for the new expansion....

The jump video posted to the official World of Warcraft Facebook and Twitter accounts features a character disguised as a Murloc riding a mount off the roof top, making the leap, and transforming back to a regular character body when they don’t quite stick the landing and end up dead on the street. Not a bad showing for an early attempt though. We’re sure they could get there with a bit of practice....

The Evoker will serve as the third hero class that has been added to World of Warcraft since its launch. Both Death Knights and Demon Hunters have held the moniker of hero class, and Evokers will follow suit. Much like previous hero classes, Evokers will begin their leveling journey at 58 in their own unique starting zone alongside the Dragon Isles. They will bring with them a whole new set of talents and abilities for players to utilize, and a whole new batch of deep lore for them to enjoy....

Not all Quartermasters of the new expansion are equally popular, and reputation grinds have varying levels of difficulty that often have nothing to do with the value of their goods. Certain rep grinds in Northrend are relatively easy with decent to impressive rewards available, while others can be the opposite, but at the same time, compulsory. Neutral Factions Most of the factions in Northrend are available to both Alliance and Horde players, so it’s common to see characters from both factions grinding rep in these regions and wearing the same specific types of gear and weapons....

While it isn’t exactly a great time to be a World of Warcraft fan, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Microsoft is purchasing Activision Blizzard, and that includes World of Warcraft along with it. While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, there’s a good chance that World of Warcraft could come to Xbox Game Pass given how Microsoft usually handles first-party games. Right now there is a fantastic debate on women, work, parenting, and the myth of the work/life balance at The Atlantic. The central argument going on is that the expectations of men and women in the work place differ greatly. I won’t get into the details of the various arguments being put fourth, but, I have to say that the treatment of female characters in Azeroth is still stuck in a 1950’s mentality....

Many players have been exceptional in the tournament while many others have only disappointed. This World Cup has been an extremely surprising one with many shock results arising. The early exit of big teams like Argentina, Germany, Spain and Brazil surprised the world. On the other hand, teams like Croatia and England have surpassed expectations. Several players have been impressive so far, but only 92 players are remaining in the competition....

The current edition of the event is underway in the UK and has already left the spectators spell-bound by some incredible turnarounds. The tournament is the biggest cricketing event in the world and thus gives the players ample opportunities to showcase their talent on the grandest stage. A few of them have individually or collectively as a team grabbed the opportunity with both hands and made the most it. India were invited to bat first by Pakistani captain Sarfaraz Ahmed on winning the toss. However, this turned out to be a blunder as India piled up a mammoth score of 336/5 in their 50 overs. Rohit Sharma played yet another gem of a knock, as he scored another big hundred - 140 off just 113 balls. Supporting knocks by Virat Kohli and KL Rahul ensured that India recorded its highest World Cup total against the archrivals....

India have been the most consistent side in this tournament but still find themselves well short of top spot. Virat Kohli’s men will have to win both their remaining games and hope Australia lose their final game if they are to climb to the summit of the table. Bangladesh, on the other hand, have been really impressive in this World Cup, consistently testing the world’s best teams. Mashrafe Mortaza has led his troops excellently against some top-quality sides and his captaincy will once again be tested against India....

This edition of the tournament, unlike the last six editions, is scheduled to be played in a round-robin format where we have a single group of 10 teams with each team playing the other nine teams. The top four teams from the round-robin league will qualify to the semi-finals. The last time an ICC World Cup was played in the round-robin format was way back in 1992 in Australia and New Zealand....
