Chasing a target of 269, West Indies were shaky from the beginning. In the absence of Andre Russell, a lot was dependant on Chris Gayle. So, when he got out for just 6, the game was already India’s to lose. Wickets kept on falling at regular intervals as no West Indian batsman had an answer to Indian bowlers’ onslaught. Sunil Ambris and Nicholas Pooran showed some resilience by building a 55-run partnership....

On the other hand, the Drust, which were one of the better storytelling elements in Battle for Azeroth, have invaded Ardenweald to circumvent their cursed existence in Thros thanks to the realm’s rebirth magic. With both of these threats converging, players must venture into the Mists of Tirna Scithe dungeon to give the Winter Queen and Ardenweald a temporary reprieve....

Kyrestia the Firstborn is the progenitor of the Kyrian responsible for ferrying souls into the Shadowlands. But as the community learned in Bastion’s Afterlives video, her strict adherence to the path of ascension disillusioned many Kyrians. With players noting that her former paragon Devos had a point, many were disappointed to find they had to aid the Archon in maintaining the status quo. However, one group managed to give the Archon a piece of their mind, but not without dire consequences for the afterlife....

Problems for Blizzard Entertainment, the game’s creator, started when it switched to a new local operator for World of Warcraft in China, online gaming company NetEase. New operators of foreign games have to submit the games for government approval, and China has objected to some of the content it found in its latest review of World of Warcraft. The state agency vetting the game will soon complete the first round of the process, but the game will have to be resubmitted with some content changes to receive approval, an employee at the official General Administration of Press and Publication said today....

The Class Order Halls and Artifact weapons were the focus of World of Warcraft’s content during Legion. Players would log in to power up their class specific weapon, and would follow a class specific story that saw them combat the Burning Legion in new ways. These stories were all very well received, and many players fell in love with this new system. However, Blizzard quickly abandoned the concept once Battle for Azeroth launched, and it has not looked back since....

Most fans are probably aware that WoW Classic is rolling out in a series of planned phases. The first phase is officially live and phase two aims to deliver the groundwork for Classic Battlegrounds and the next batch of endgame content. Although some players are already anxiously awaiting that content, the vast majority of players are still slowly working through the game’s many zones and quests as they reach max level at a more reasonable pace....

The Beta for TBC Classic has been live for a while, and prepatch is set to begin on the 18th of this month. After that, players can expect The Burning Crusade Classic to go live June 1st, 2021 at 3PM PDT. As Blizzard prepares for the move, it is giving players the option to continue playing Vanilla Classic with their current Classic characters, move them to TBC Classic servers, or have their character cloned to both for $35....

Gone is the over-reliance on bloated systems and borrowed power such as Covenants and Azerite Power. Gone is the equipment grind that once made the Player vs. Player experience in World of Warcraft so tedious. Dragonflight is a far more sleek, far more focused expansion pack than Battle for Azeroth or Shadowlands, and this may well be the key for World of Warcraft’s return to its former glory, provided Blizzard does not relapse into old habits....

World of Warcraft’s patch 7.1.5 will deliver several pieces of content, including the opening of an all-new raid. Rather than release the still-in-production patch notes, Blizzard decided to release a “Survival Guide” trailer that goes over each of the major additions. While the trailer doesn’t even run for three minutes, it does give a great visual for players to look forward to. For instance, a quick shot of the calendar provides hints at upcoming mini-holidays....
